Walking all over the room, he was wretched with grief.
This was an unexpected event, and he had thought he would convince his daughter. As a dutiful father, he felt emotionally distant from his child.
It felt like a knife was pierced through his heart.
"Annie! Annie!! don't do this to me". He heard a voice sharply cut through his ear, it was Maria's voice.
"What is really happening between Maria and Annie", he asked his eager self.
He was so grieved that it didn't even occur to me that Maria had gone to Annie's room.
Lord please have mercy upon me, he prayed silently in his heart. He hurriedly ran to Annie's room.
Getting to Annie's room what he saw dumbstrucked him, his daughter's body lieing unconscious on the cold merciless floor of her room.
Maria was right next to her.
"Annie!! Annie!! He screamed, Maria what the hell happened to our child!!" He asked without even waiting for her reply.
"Maria get the keys!", He instructed.
"Yh dear" she helplessly replied and immediately went to get the keys, with loads of tears in her eyes.
As she went, She was disheartened and writhing in anguish.
"I have always considered Annie as my daughter. I confess I made a terrible mistake, but my greatest mistake was failing to be the Mother, Sister and friend Annie could see" she spoke out load.
wiping her tears with her left hand, she was frozen with terror.
"Is she alive??? How is she?? What is really going on??
She shakily started looking for the keys in his room, looking like a woman in distress.
Fortunately for her the keys were in Johnson's drawer, she grabbed it and hurriedly went to hand the keys over to him.
"Here is the keys Johnson" She said sounding like she could die any moment.
"Okay" he replied taking the keys and putting it into his pocket.
He was panicking and afraid of what might happen next.
He quickly carried his daughter in his arms, taking her downstairs leading to the main gate.
Maria watching him doing all that himself, snatched the keys from his pocket.
"I will go open the car " she said.
She hurriedly opened the car and helped him lay Annie on the backseat of the car.
She quickly got into the backseat to help watch over Annie, while he drive.
He speedily started driving the car,to St . John's hospital.
It was the nearest hospital.
hurry!! hurry!! Annie is jerking",
Maria cried out panicking.
He quickly started driving faster than he ever had, God knew if he had an airplane he will fly his daughter to the hospital, without even blinking an eye.
Seeing his daughter suffer was really heartbreaking, he was so pained knowing he had caused it.
" That's the hospital pull over".
